This week
Monday: I can barely remember Monday! I feel like I did Korean and got laundry done. I think I was productive in other ways as well? I hung out with a couchsurfing friend at a pub. The pub has board games. We talked and looked at this game called Sinner or Saint. At first the questions were kind of entertaining but then they started to seem stupid. We also played Connect 4!
Tuesday: I had my interview for tutoring. I signed a contract to be a tutor. Now I just hope I get people to tutor quickly. I met up with Alban's co-worker and we ate at Pizza Hut and played two games of pool. Pizza Hut has a 5 pound lunch deal. It said it came with a personal size pizza so I was expecting something with four slices. Well, I got a thin crust pizza that was quite large. Maybe a medium size? Anyway, after that I went home. Later on I went to Alban's as it was his birthday. His flatmates and co-worker were there as well. We ate cassoulet. We stayed up until 2am so I slept over.
Today: We woke up pretty late since we went to bed late. We had breakfast. I got home around 11:30. I did lesson 5 of Korean again. I left at 1 to have lunch with Alban and his co-worker at their office. It was really cheap and quite good (biryani). Then I walked home and finally cleaned my room! It's mostly clean now but thankfully vacuumed. I went to the library to meet Aurelie and heard about her first half of the week. We decided to buy a couple desserts and candles for Alban's birthday (which was yesterday). At 7:30, we went to his place, lit the candles, and sang Joyeux Anniversaire. The six of us ate pasta that was really good. Then Alban, his co-worker and I watched L'auberge espagnole. It's a movie that is mostly French but the characters also speak English and Spanish. It's about a French man who goes to study in Spain and lives with a bunch of students from around Europe.
