Happy Hogswatch!
Dear all,
Hope everyone is having a safe and happy Christmas. 2008 is certainly going to be an exciting year, and I hope that everyone makes the most of every opportunity that comes their way and learns at least something new.
As for me, 2008 will bring: the opportunity for casual work at a preschool at the university that I hope to gain an internship into in 2009, more exciting uni stuff, and who knows what else. It all really depends on what gets offered!
This evening I have just finished watching "Hogfather" (a mini series adaptation of Terry Pratchett's 'Discworld' novel of the same name). It certainly brings home the need to believe in something - be it other people, religion, or the 'little lies' we are told as children to make the 'big lies' of adulthood bareable.
