Maira Kalman Inauguration Paintings.
I love Maira Kalman. Her paintings from the Inauguration fill me with almost as much happiness as the actual event did, and they rival Chicken Soup, Boots for my favorite Maira Kalman work of all time.
Looking at these makes me want to go home, re-read Chicken Soup, Boots and then re-read the book of important documents in American history that Leslie gave me (the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Gettysburg Address, etc.) Maybe I will print out a copy of Obama's speech and append it to the end of the book.
