The Weekend

Such is my life: abandoned sippy cup on the ground, dog sleeping on the couch, beer in hand.
Some days it’s all I can do to take a picture with my camera phone to meet my goal for the day. I’ve found that even quick camera phone shots are more well thought out than they were at the beginning of the year. Sometimes the camera phone photos inspire me to go back and take that photo with the SLR. Such was the case with my bath shots. I don’t usually post my camera phone shots, mostly because unless I upload them to twitpic, they’re a hassle to get from my phone and I’d rather not deal with it. If you’re stuck in Project 365 or feeling pressure for the day, I’d highly recommend giving yourself a pass to shoot with your phone. It may not end up being the best of your photographs, but it’s still a valuable exercise.

Over the weekend, we were lucky enough to visit our good friends who had twins a couple months ago. Kendra and Kathryn were the bittiest, softest little angels I’ve ever snuggled! Okay, maybe my own babies were equally soft, but they were definitely never as bitty.

I was able to get some shots of them. Not as many as I would have liked, but I wanted to visit, not have a camera stuck to my nose the entire time.
