Beautiful Sunday [136/365]

The weekend was mostly gorgeous, though I think the forecast called for scattered thunderstorms all throughout. Fittingly, there was plenty of sun on Sunday; in fact there was so much hot, bright sun that I wondered if we were actually in summer instead of mid-spring. By the time Mr. Serious woke from his nap, it was scorching outside. Mark and I decided to get him and ourselves into our respective bathing suits and play outside with the Waterpillar. I’m not sure about that toy; Mr. Serious still seems reluctant to run into it and it’s really difficult to keep upright on the freshly cut grass. It wasn’t long before we abandoned it altogether, put the nozzle back on the hose and took turns squirting each other. Unsurprisingly, Mr. Serious’ turns lasted longer than ours and there were more of them.

I felt like playing and joining these two photos together. I would LOVE to get out my tripod and do a proper “multiple Mr. Serious” shot!
