I'm 18 years old and my dad has just been diagnosed with lymphoma. The tests were "inconclusive" so we're still waiting to find out what kind it is, but the doctor told him that it looks like Mantle cell lymphoma. From what I know, the average time left for people with Mantle lymphoma is 3-5 years.

My family is very Christian and strongly believe in miracles, but I've lost my "faith" and my relative's assurances that "this is just a test from God" and "Jesus will do what the doctors can't" feel so empty to me. I'm not sure what to believe, but I won't give up on him. It's also very hard because we don't even know for sure if that's what he has, but we need to find out soon so we can start treating it asap.

Another thing is that I live in  New Mexico with my grandpa so I can go to school. The rest of my family is in Colorado. New Mexico is where I belong, but I feel guilty being so away from my dad.
