Cheers indeed, to all my dear friends out there! Here in NH, they're predicting wind chills down around -19 tonight, and at least one in our merry band is not feeling up to snuff, so it's looking as if it'll be a relatively low-key event tonight. We'll probably sneak outside (wearing EVERY SCRAP OF CLOTHING we collectively own) to set off a few ( Read more... )

Yay, what a cute car, I love it! Tell Paul he needs to smile. Unless he's going to the zombie-with-a-beer look, then nevermind. ;)

Happy New Year to you all!

Yes, we do have a freakin' adorable car... :>

Paul does look vaguely menacing in this pic, but I'm chalking it up to his just having escaped from work. And that's a soda, you miscreant... ;>

You and Brian have a lovely evening...getting together with Beth and her squeeze? If you are, please exchange hugs for me, and may there be much in the way of good fun and good cheese!

No get togethers here, unfortunately. We did get up there way to play this past Sunday though. Tom and I are planning on eating naughty snacky type foods and generally relaxing.

Oh, and I've taken a look at the pattern and am willing to negotiate. I think I can take it, given enough time to screw it up the first time round. Heh.

Oh, and for the yarn, I would recommend this:
http://www.yarn.com/webs-knitting-crochet-yarns-cascade/webs-knitting-yarns-cascade-220-superwash/

It's the same yarn that I used for Doug's hat; it's *super* soft, washable, and 100% wool (assuming he's not allergic). There are some nice colors there too.

I'm following your lead, Mama-jama... ;>

Sounds good to me...and given the subject and context, the color should probably be deep-sea green or blue...something that looks like it's been submerged for millenia...
