HI LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, IT’S TORCHWOOD TIME!
For all of you who have no idea about the show, or just want to knew more about the characters, here’s a bit explanation about it with a stupid and funny picspam.

But…What the hell is Torchwood????
The word Torchwood (TW) is an anagram of “Doctor Who” , another English TV show very related to TW, and there’s a lot of references to that show. Unfortunately, I never seen Doctor Who, so let’s go to forgot that for now.

Well, now lets Wikipedia talk for me: “Torchwood is deals with the machinations and activities of the Cardiff branch of the fictional Torchwood Institute, who deal with supernatural occurrences. The organization is separate from the government, outside the police, and beyond the United Nations. Their public perception is as merely a 'special ops' group.”
There’s a lot of deaths on Torchwood, but (un) fortunately the dead people didn’t stay dead much time XD
They work on a place called “the hub” to keep an eye on the space/time that runs through the city, and whatever washes through it. On my opinion, most of problems they have with aliens and time travellers are they own fault.
Ha, “supernatural occurrences” is the euphemism of the century. Well now let’s have some fun: Characterrrrs of TW :D
Jarck Hotness, of sorry…. I mean Jack Harkness
The leader of the group, the man of mystery, the sexiness on leather jacket…and he’s immortal. His real name is unknown; he is commonly called "Captain Jack" or "the Captain".
Jack is bisexual, but in the realm of the show they call him omnisexual, because the characters also have sex with aliens who take human form, and sex with male-male, women-women, all sorts of combinations.
Sounds like fun, isn’t it? ^_~
As is said on the show, Jack will shag anything who’s gorgeous enough, so he doesn’t care much for the gender or…specie.
He likes to climb on the top of really high buildings. Not very safe but very hero-ish….I’m waiting for jack to show his underwear over the jeans.

Ianto Jones, aka the emo Teaboy
I luv him, he’s such a pretty angsty welsh man ^^
Ianto is the "support man", his job entails manning the reception desk in the Information Centre that acts as a cover, administering the computer systems, serving coffee, receiving reports and cleaning up loose ends - such as covering up deaths and destroying information.
Our pretty boy is a mathematical genius too, and like Toshiko he has some important technologic skills. Ianto projects a polite, efficient and calm exterior, but underneath are hidden depths of anguish and darkness =D yay!
He makes me wish for a really big cup of coffee. And I don’t like coffee at all >_<
Owen called him Teaboy in ONE episode, I still don’t know why because Ianto is always making coffees for his companions, not tea. But now it’s a really common thing on fanfiction. Like House callin Chase a wombat. He only to that ONCE on the whole for season (if I can remember correctly), on the episode honeymoon form the 1 season, but now it’s very common on fanfics too.

Gwen Cooper, the newbie
Meet mrs. Cooper….ok that maybe not her best shot.
On that photo Gwen remember me Bridget Jones O_o dunno why...
She’s is a former police officer recruited into the Torchwood Institute. Throughout the series, Gwen's character is at the center of several themes regarding human nature. Blah, Blah, Blah…she’s the girl next door archetype. I don’t like Gwen much. Maybe because she’s the most typical character ever.
And I dislike her pitying eyes and strange teeth. She remember me Cameron a lot, always being so protective and emotional.
She really need a god hair cut. Please.
Oh, she also have a boyfriend, Rhys Williams, a character who’s not important at all, but appear naked in too much scenesof the show >_< urgh he have a horrible butt ,by the way. But most of the time Gwen is cheating on Rhys, with Owen or aliens.
But she has her good things. I love what she did on the last episode, but I’m not going to talk about that ‘cause I don’t want to spoil no one ^^’
Toshiko Sato, the geek
Aww toshi, I love her. She’s a cutie :3
Toshi is the Cardiff branch's technical expert, she can still operate as a medical doctor too. I thought that Toshiko doesn’t have enought screentime, she’s a really inteligent (but a bit shy) woman and a cool character with some interesting backstory. And she make out with a female alien too XD But Gwen did that before her so…second place for Toshi on the Alien rankig
She looks totally badass here XD
Owen Harper the snarky Doctor
He’s the resident doctor, or mad scientist if you ask me. He spend most of the time making autopsies or playing with alien stuff. He is the resident medic and second-in-command and a narcissistic genius with a really big mouth
Like Gregory House, he spends a great deal of time picking people apart and mocking their weaknesses. He’s an idiot but at least he’s a fun snarky idiot. But he become more angsty by the end of the first season. I’m still not sure If I like or dislike him. Owen ‘s lips and teeth remember me a piranha :| dunno why, but it’s scary
On the show he has a lot of affair, a thing that I can’t really understand because, well…it’s…Owen…>_<
The Weevil
There's alot of that type of alien living free on Cardiff and some other part of the planet. They're not a good neighbours, believe me. The TW team have one on the jails since the first episode, Jack named the weevil Janet, because “Barbara just never seemed right.” I agree. It doesn’t look like a Barbara to me. Fiona, maybe. ..
Myfanwy
I don't have a decent photo of Myfanwy, damn, but all you need to know is that it's a pterodactyl. Yeah, your read that right. They have a pterodactyl has a pet, witch I find pretty cool. I always wanted a T-rex , too bad I live on a flat, not a House. Riiiight, ‘cause that’s the only problem…. The dinosaur fell of the riff one day, and they making her their pet. Yeah, “her” because the pterodactyl it’s a girl ROLF ^^
There’s a lot of nice scenes on the show, because they’re a love people, they hugs, they kiss, they…do another things……theyre really LOVE people XD
To bad they never kissed or hugged the Weevils. Well, Owen was nearly going to do it once, but the evil was afraid of him XD
