I haven't been on LJ in a while, and when my internet started working (for the first time in days), I realized just how much I've missed.
I'm now officially two weeks into being the last year of my teens (19! woohoo!) and last weekend went to an amazing concert which included
Phantom Planet,
The Hush Sound,
Motion City Soundtrack, and
Panic at the Disco. I was really surprised that Panic at the Disco was absolutely great in concert, because I've heard that they weren't. But to be honest, I was more excited to see Motion City Soundtrack and The Hush Sound. All of them were great, and it was the best concert I've been to so far.
Isn't it beautiful? (sighs) And shinny, and orange, and eye-catching... I love my bike!
Now, all I need is a white wire-rimmed basket and life will be complete =]
I was voted off a few weeks ago from
dramione_ldws, but it's okay because I got a neat banner. Remember to vote this week! I think we're down to the last 7 people, all who are more than amazing authors. May the best drabble writer win!
As for the
pphpficexchange, the time is coming where our fics are due! I'm so worried that my story won't be complete on time. I really hope it does, but I have the feeling it won't be up to standard because of my procrastination. Darn me.
I signed up for the
rarepair_shorts number game ficathon. I don't remember when the fic is due, but I have the most crazy pairing. Pansy and ----, oh but that would be telling. Ha! Go check it out at the comm when it's eventually posted. (But I'll let you in on a little secret, the male love interest is one of my favorite characters).
Oh! And I won a four month LJ subscription from
Ink, a dark family archive, just for posting my Pansy stories up. I was a runner-up, yay! They're in severe lack of Pansy stories, so I suggest if you have any, post there! Ink has some great dark pairings that I'd never think of too, or never actually looked into. Check it out!
Work has been so much fun! I work with kids at an after school daycare program, and school's ending tomorrow. All the sixth graders are graduating, and I'm going to miss them like I miss nutella on toasted bread. All yesterday, I was signing yearbooks and telling them I'm going to miss their mischievious little minds (because they are trouble makers at heart). And so life goes on. Because this summer, we're going on a ton of field trips. Next week, we're going to watch a movie and go to Knott's Berry Farm. How cool is that? I'm getting paid to go to a theme park!
I think that's enough of my f-list spamming.
