The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Hollywood has this thing where they enjoy ruining books.

I just watched the second Narnia movie, Prince Caspian, last night. I nearly wet myself because I was so excited. I'll be honest, it was a good movie. As for an adaptation of the book, it sucked.

This part nearly killed me.

SUSAN AND PRINCE CASPIAN KISS.

WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT?!?!

I'm sure C.S. Lewis would be very upset at how Hollywood has portrayed his characters. I understand why they did it, but they've completely left the books on this one. I kinda hate it.

Phew.

So anyways, there were some good parts. I especially liked Edmund's character portrayal. It's as if him and Pete have switched places.  And with Edmund and the White Witch...wow. I was impressed and laughing. OH, and the battle scenes were EPIC. I hope that's vague enough, if you're going to watch it. Over all, one of the best movies of the summer, save for that one part. Now, go watch it! If you've read the books, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

ramblings, movie
