Ta-ta!!
One of the things I promised myself when I decided against Berlin (*is still bitter*), is that I will travel more. I will actually make an effort to see more of the world (and not just Ontario).
To that effect, I'm going on vacation. Tomorrow. For a week.
YAY!!
Where am I going? To the East Coast. Of Canada. Specifically, Halifax and Moncton.
This destination was chosen because of two things:
1) My trips out of province can be counted on one hand - and half of those are from my childhood.
2) I better see more of Canada before I start roaming the rest of the globe.
Also, I have never seen the ocean. Any ocean, though I have swam in all of the Great Lakes - I think.
I've driven across 3/4 of this province - the last 1/4 is missing because I had no reason to head to Thunder Bay - yet haven't stepped more than a foot in either Manitoba or Quebec. I need to rectify that.
So, I'll be pretty much offline for the next week - I hope. Not that I don't love my flist and online activities, but I'm determined to be too busy with an actual *life*. However, the places I'm staying (plus the 20 hour train ride back) all have internet access, so I'll be checking email and stuff.
I'm also setting up a site to post my pictures and experiences online, for easier access for the rest of my family and friends. If I get it up soon enough, I'll post a link here.
