While I might have mixed feelings about the way I fully believe in supporting the troops full out. They don't get to pick and choose which wars they fight. I'm going to be sending some care packages to them as I did during the Gulf War. I enjoyed finding soldiers that didn't have anyone "taking care" of them and letting them know that they were cared about and sending them goodies. It really made me feel good to hear some of the things they wrote back to me, about how much easier this made it for them and that I took better care of them then some of the guys who had families sending them stuff. :)
My daughter is very excited about this. She is horrified with war and violence and saddened that not many people try to help out the soldiers when they are risking their lives for us and our country.
If you want to help out, send a letter, a care package, etc. Try the link below if you don't have a particular soldier's name because you can no longer address them to "Any Soldier".
