I am sure most of you have heard about the fiasco with the car by now.
Basically, Nate parked the car on a side street on Sunday night, and on Monday (my day off) I was going to go buy a futon mattress, but once in the car I noticed it was a bit drafty. On closer examination, I saw the entire back passenger seat window was smashed out and lying in pieces on the back seat.

Nothing, however, was missing. They went through all of our stuff, but decided our CDs (which were the only semi-valuable things in there) were not worth stealing. So I called the insurance company and the cops and tried to get it all straightened out. The insurance company told me they would send out a glass company between noon and five that same day to replace the window, but when five o'clock rolled around, and no glass company in sight, I gave them another call. APPARENTLY, when I said TODAY!!!!! they heard, um, tomorrow is ok, I can leave a completely vulnerable car on the street overnight, no problem. They said they would send the glass people out to my work first thing in the morning to replace it.

The plot thickens. The next morning, I got a call saying that oops, they don't have the right part yet, it has to be ordered from Columbus, can it wait til tomorrow?
This morning, I found that some other asshole had taken advantage of the car's lack of window, had gotten in and gone through all our stuff AGAIN. I had taken out all of the CD books we had in there when it first happened; however, I forgot to clean out the console. So they made off with like, five CDs, most of them crap. But still, I am full of ire! How many times are we going to we screwed over before it finally gets fixed!? I hate people.
