(no subject)
Well, I bought a pretty notebook and started a pen and paper and handwriting old fashioned journal. So I've neglected my livejournal, which I've only ever used to keep up on my friends' dirt. Oh well, does anyone want to know what I've been up to?
Jay and I moved from Leah's apartment when she and the kids went travelling. Just a few houses down, too, but it's very nice. Gas appliances, hardwood floors, detachable showerhead, yes! I'm back at school, I could only afford two classes this semester, since I'm poor and I foolishly blew my scholarship last year. But if I get A's (and I will) my grandparents and parents have offered help with the next semester.
Jay asked me to marry him last month. Whoa! I'm so happy! We've only been going out for eight months, but we'll have a long engagement. I don't have a ring yet, and it'll be tiny when I get it, but WHO CARES? I'm so in love with this man.
Other than that, things are pretty much the same. I still work at the liquor store (long story), Jay has about another two years at Fidelity, then his apprenticeship will be over and he can stay and take over his boss's job or he can go anywhere in the country and set up there. New England? North Carolina? Not Florida!! (melt)
I don't have a cell anymore, but if you want to call my house phone, I'd love to catch up with everyone!
