Ohhh High School

So.  Yesterday at Toy Mandala I was hit with a BLAST FROM THE PAST.

I was hanging around when all of a sudden Nick from my eleventh grade math and art classes is right behind me!  We both sort of went "OMG!" and hugged and caught up for like... ten minutes, cause he had to go back to work.  (WHICH IS RIGHT DOWN THE STREET, WHAT THE HELL.)  He had said years ago that he was moving to Georgia or something like that, so I thought I'd never see him again, but it turns out that he DIDN'T MOVE AFTER ALL.  Bastard.  He laughed at me when I told him that and I might have hit him.

But yeah, seeing him = a big deal, and for those who don't know the story, here's there rundown:

He seemed REALLY COOL, which got me all kinds of crap from my friends because he was a tiny stick boy weirdo ninth grader who I was fascinated with, BUT WHATEVER.  He was awesome and I am was a creepy stalkerish person so I'd watch him and stuff.

One day in art he looked REALLY SAD and I was flailing at Billy about it and he would roll his eyes at me and I ended up drawing a little chibi picture of the situation that I liked a lot.  So I just sort of... kept drawing things like that until I ended up with a fullblown STALKER COMIC about him that went on forever.  Like.  I named it The Stalker Chronicles and it featured me bugging the shit out of him all the time and all my friends thought it was awesome and I liked having something secret and fun.

But I also really wanted to talk to him, so I'd look at him all the time until he noticed I was looking and then look away REALLY OBVIOUSLY, almost comically so, until one day in math he came over and sat with me.  From then on, we talked and were basically awesome.

Eventually he started hanging out with my friends and I a bit and Diego INSISTED I show him the comics.  I was mortified and refused, of course, until Diego asked Nick if he thought someone secretly drawing a comic about him would be cool.  Nick was pretty enthusiastic about the idea, so I showed him and he loved it.

Then my friend Brent, who HATED him, told me I had to start drawing someone else, so I drew an epic like... eight-parter comic or something about Nick and the new kid (Lennon) warring over who would remain my stalkee.  Everyone died laughing, then end.

So yeah.  That was awesome and I'm pretty sure I'll see him again soon.

Work today was wonderful and glorious and it was RAINING FOR SO LONG AGAIN and I was singing with almost everything we had playing overhead.  (Except that stupid folksy-adult-rock-hit-whatever thing that goes on for nine billion hours, I almost stabbed my eyes out with a Sharpie.)  I amused myself on break by getting more ringtones and might have giggled a little when I set "Blood" from MCR as the ringer for work.

Sadly I missed out on being online to finish up stuff with Mara yesterday because I passed out as soon as I got home.  I'M SORRY.

Anyway.  I am off to see Prince Caspian in a short while~  Hope everyone is good.
