My hair is so fucked from all the bleaching and straightening. It looks so unhealthy and i have so many snapped strands of hair. I have strips of hair that are about four inches shorter than the rest of it because the ends have snapped off.  I'm thinking of dying it all one colour to give the hair a chance to recouperate! I'm probably too old to ( Read more... )

You’re never too old to have fun with your hair. There are hair products that you can buy that will straighten you hair without the flat iron. Mark the line by Avon I use makes some. You would still have to use a hair dryer to use one these but it would still be less damaging for your hair. I have been meaning to try one or both of these myself.

Mark is only for sale in US and Canada right now. If you wanted to try the Mark products, I could send them to you in the post as late birthday presents.
I would do a hair mask or leave on deep conditioning treatment to help with the dryness and hair breakage. You will want to do this after adding new color. And, if the damage is really bad I would do one maybe two before hand. Then do one as needed. I do them to keep my hair from drying out from the dye.

There are some I found on the UK Avon site you could try. I remember you saying you liked Avon's shampoo once. I like to use Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Treatment as a leave in conditioner. It works great and smells good too.

About the color, yes the bleached bits will catch color more then the non bleached bits. It’s often hard to do much about that at home. You will want to try to go with a nice all over dark color. The lighter bits would just look like highlights if done right. A salon is the best way to go as already stated. Although it is pricey they can do better at making sure you hair is closer to all one color. They can usually put something on your hair to keep the bleached bits from catching color as bad. It’s something to think about as a one time thing to get you hair a nice cut and even color. However, money wise it’s not always an option we all have.

In response to the weight loss = boob loss math problem. I can understand from the bottom of my heart. Half my bras are doing the gapping at the side’s thing. I just had to buy like 3 new ones not to long ago. Don’t feel bad about the weight coming back. Everyone’s weight goes up and down. I feel the need to be thin as well. I have lost some but I gain a bit of it back now and again. x x x x

Oooo, thanks for all the info. I'll take a look in my mums argos book to see if there are any similar products :)

I think i may just pay the extra on my hair to get it all sorted out and back to one colour. At least it will be a good job!!

I'm not too bothered about the weight as it's not all com back- which is a start i guess! Hope you're ok! xxx
