Dream A Little Dream. ♥ Gah, I hope you like it.
Two months had pasted since that last encounter that they had with each other. Two months since they had kissed, exchanging love between their souls. Two months added to the end of their relationship. Always waking up early at sunrise, only to find his eyes locked on that same spot in which they shared the faithful kiss, though his attention was taken away from a familiar touch that Uruha had gotten used too and dragged him down back to his previous position - only to be tangled in a pair of feminine arms; the same pair of arms that took him away from the one he truly loved.
-
Slouching over his guitar, Uruha mindlessly strummed a chord, then added another one, then another; as it produced a graceful melody that filled the room. Eyes still locked in the corner of the room, he didn't even hear the knock on the door. Not really caring whom it was, the guitarist continued to play his newly created melody. Biting down on his bottom lip, he listened carefully as the door was closed gently and he sound of boots being walked across the room echoed through his ears. Soon the sound of walking stopped, the sound of playing soon followed after.
"I see you still have the key to my house," Uruha whispered, his head lowering down; eyes hidden behind his messy bangs.
"I've noticed that you didn't ask for them back when I was over here," Ruki's voice filled the air. A brief silence hovered over there heads, the sound of breathing to only attack it.
"You know you're always welcomed in my home. Even if we did break up, or even if she's here; you're always welcomed," Uruha replied. Slowly, Ruki sat besides him, eyes never leaving his face. Quickly their eyes met, as Uruha could clearly see the expression written on his face: loneliness.
Opening his mouth as if to speak, Ruki instantly closed it, only to encourage Uruha with what he was about to say. Drumming the side of his guitar gently, Uruha cocked an eyebrow. "What is it, Ruki?" he asked suddenly.
Ruki shook his head. Uruha turned to his side. Eyes meet, breaths quickened.
"Ruki," Uruha started, chewing on his lower lip gently.
"I regret breaking up with you," Ruki mumbled, "I regret everything,"
"...You do?"
A nod. A loud sigh. An embrace. A gasp. A careless whisper of something along the line, "I love you" to "I'm sorry".
"Don't apologize," Ruki whispered against the guitarist skin, "Back then, we were losted between the lines of love - we knew, basically, nothing about each other, other than how attracted we were to each other by beauty,"
Silence.
"What about now?" Uruha whispered, "What's going to happen to us now?"
"Eternal..." - Ruki hesitated - "Eternal companionship."
Uruha smiled as he settled his finger underneath Ruki's chin, tilting his face upward. As their lips brushed among another's, a certain spark raced with in them, something that they didn't experierance that day before; but something that felt like a hint of Reality - knowing that this was true, and happening.
"Tomorrow," Uruha whispered, "I'll break up with her."
