Time really seems to be flying by, man.
Konomi-sensei, why did you create something that completly takes over my life?
Seriously, I thought I had fell out of the Tenipuri part of prince of tennis. But noooooo, ever since the 100 song marathon, it's like someone turned on the vacuum and sucked me back. Now i'm rewatching the series, and getting very interested in the seiyuu.
Especially Jun Jun. He's made me love Atobe even more(which i didn't think was possible)
Really, i rewatch the 100 song, almost everyday, made a cd of my favorite songs, and that's all I listen to in my car and when I work out.
I can't even count how many times i've listened to Charm Point(makes me want a mole under my right eye, mines on the left side of my mouth)
And then theres the Rajipuri and all it's cracktastic glory. just so much crack, i love these guys so much.
And cause of Jun Jun making me love Atobe more, my Atobe/Tezuka OTP crave came back with a vengeance. I know most people are for Tezuka/Fuji, honestly I can see it. But when like every sentence out of Atobe's mouth somehow includes Tezuka.........well I can't ignore that. Plus it's really hot.
So I was desperately searching for more atotez(it's hard to find) when I came across the TAT zone http://www.tatzone.net/ ring. So that's what the Japanese call them. Tezuka Atobe Tezuka.........i still don't see why Tezuka's name is first, since he's hardly ever the seme. They are all like art and Fanfiction(seems they call it text) sites. One of the best sites it the top one called PowerStrokers http://members2.jcom.home.ne.jp/nariyukihaz/powerstrokers/index.htm, they draw them really well, not Konomi's style(really don't like how he draws them, even though he created them).
So yeah been looking at a lot of fanart(drawing a lot of my own, i have never drawn tezuka and atobe so much).
Dug up a lot of fanfiction, most of it's old from around the Hyotei 1st arc.
But I did come across a recent one that involved the Yakiniku episode. Now I hadn't watched it yet so I was confused. The author mentioned in the story how Tezuka was possesive of Atobe, that's why he tried to burn Inui's jewels off. I was like what?
So I had to go find the episode and watch it. I ended up getting stuck on the part where Atobe drinks the coffee for a while, he has some of the cutest expressions (too bad it reminded me he's only 14/15)
you can't tell me that expression isn't adorable ^_^
and when atobe drinks it and just sits there, i'm all like what happened(they weren't too clear in the manga either), but when Tezuka started talking, it reminded me of the end of Atobe and Ryoma's match. So I went and checked, and the dialog is similar. So i'm guessing Atobe lost consciousness from all the caffine. Funny how every one stopped to watched Atobe(not that i mind)
This really made me love Atobe even more(curse you Konomi-sensei and animators).
maybe i read too much fanfiction, but i like to think we're seeing glimpses of the real Atobe, and not the narcisstic mask he usually shows.
now in the manga this was clearly an accident, but the anime had stuff different. up till Atobe calling Inui out on his wrong data was the same, but then for some reason instead of just being upset his data was wrong, Inui decides he wants to collect data from Atobe's lips? WTH!!!!! Inui how does that make any since at all?
So Inui is making kissing faces and heading towards Atobe and slips. So Tezuka tries to catch him...............or so it seems. He pulls Inui's pants down exposing his butt(does he not wear underwear?) So up to this point it still looks like an accident, until Inui looks at Tezuka.........and Tezuka outright GLARES at him, and then looks away. WTF!!!! O_o Tezuka so did that on PURPOSE!!!! XD
Now I completly understand when the author got the possesive Tezuka from. That was like Fuji/Yukimura sadistic level. I'm all for Atobe/Tezuka, but man burning off the guys precious parts is harsh.
This episode was complete crack, but i loved it. No, not just for the AtoTez. Seems like all my favorite episodes have nothing to do with tennis........well except the Imperial Match.XD
So yeah ATO/TEZ for ever yo.
