Nekocon
well Nekocon has come and gone. this was probably my last one. trying to get orders somewhere else. time for a change.
this year was....okay....defintely not memorable. probably would have been if all the people who said they were coming didn't
drop out. that left me in a irritated mood most of the con.
i only took my camera, so i wouldn't have to keep holding my camcorder.
and i still didn't take any pictures, sad.
few highlights
there were a few good skits and the cosplay show, two hetalia, and two pokemon ones(huh go figure)
Phoenix Wright panel was pretty good, makes me want to play the game.
they had three Sengoku Basara games in the game room XD
saw original Mighty Morphin Black ranger
took my usual con companion Megan and a kid from church, Isaiah with me.
the first day i dressed as Ibu Shinji from Prince of Tennis(one pic), Megan was Haruhi from Ouran host club(0 pics as far as i know), dressed Isaiah as Tai from Digimon (hundreds of pics and hugs).....^^
halfway through the day we changed
i put on my Yellow ninja ranger, dressed Isaiah as the Blue ninja ranger, and Megan went as Tezuka Kunimitsu from Prince of Tennis.
Me and Isaiah were stopped a lot for pics, huge change from earlier. we also ran into a black guy dressed as the black Operation Overdrive ranger....awesome.
2nd day
didn't bring Isaiah(he's 12)...yeah, can only take so much.
dressed as Kojuurou, a few people recognized me, including a tall black Goku, who wanted a hug....^_^; Megan dressed as Rukia.
saw an awesome Hughes from Fullmetal Alchemist. he even had a picture of his daughter on his phone and was showing it to everyone....awesome.
all in all okay
just gonna wait for Otakon now.
