Feliz Cumpleanos a Windy-chan! <3 Hope you have a great day!

So, I had a rough Friday night. Much frustration and disappointment. Feeling hateful towards pretty much everything right now.
I went into the game feeling hopeful. We'd had a pretty good run through in class and the pep rally was amusing... I had my tambourine and got lots of good pictures.
We ate dinner at Jes's and watched MTV...making fun of videos... Hah.
We came to school and got ready. I paid careful attention to how I looked because...I don't know... I was expecting to see someone.
I had to keep getting onto the guard because no one could keep quiet while Miss Hunter was talking.
We marched down to the field and I was still feeling alright...Got in the stands and I played the tambourine some more...spotted people I knew...
We went out to practice earlier than we usually do because we knew we needed work. We practiced till time to go on, then we set our flags. I told the idiot newbies to wait till the band had marched past to set their flags for Eleanor, but no one listened to me, so they made a whole lotta chaos and had to run to avoid being run over by the band. I was not pleased.
The show started alright. I modified the ninja move so it would be pretty, so Crystal said I could do it. Everything went stellar for me till the rifle part. I messed up the push thing, but not enough that I missed the other work. I'm 90% sure that Mrs. Mansfins yelled, "Get it!" at me because of that. I was like, "die!" But the rifle thing was still okay because I caught the effin' toss, yo.
The rest of "A Day in the Life" went well...(for me) Until the drumbreak at the beginning of Eleanor... I don't think I did the work exactly right...I missed the step-off for the dance, so I was kind of flustered, but I had the rest of it...
The flags for Eleanor were set a little wonky, so we almost messed up that part.
I didn't screw up again till before the ripple, then I screwed up that work and the ripple.
Finished up Eleanor and I then we're supposed to run off the field to get flags for Yesterday... We're supposed to go while the drum majors are switching, but Jes and Jaquoyah have no idea what the heck is going on.
The song started okay...I was happy with it at the beginning...till Jes and Jaquoyah started scewing up the drill. The end of the song was bad because the other half of the field didn't hold our pose till the end of the song...and then go down in four. They just went down, but our side went down together...it was perfect.
Then we stood through "Can't Buy Me Love." Hearing it makes me wanna cry because the trumpets are so bad in the beginning and then the ending sucks.
We marched off, and I was pissed because some of the band started stepping on the flags that Em's mom sewed us. They are the prettiest and nicest flags we have ever had. So then Em got pissed and started yelling.
We rolled up flags and then went on break. I was angry because I knew from Lauryn's crying that the others did terrible.
But one good thing about half-time is I heard someone scream my name. That rocked my world.
During the break I talked to everyone and looked for a friend who wasn't there. I didn't feel like being at the game anymore because half-time is so humiliating... But I kept trying to stay happy and play the tambourine. When we lined up to march back I told the girls they needed to give me the headbands, wash their uniforms, and definitely take a flag home. I didn't even yell because I was so tired and defeated.
We marched back and I grabbed hairthings as the girls ran upstairs. I made everyone take a flag, even vets.
We're going to have to start going outside to work on drill if this doesn't improve.
And the Soddy game is coming up. Not only do I need to impress my friends there, I have a rival in Soddy's guard. And if we suck, well, I'm going to be fairly upset because it makes me look bad.
So I came home tired and grumpy...(and I had five hours of sleep the night before)
For an example of hour upset/out of it I was: I lost my keys the moment I took them out of the ignition upon arriving home...and I still haven't found them. I didn't even get out of the car and I was like, "...Keys?" Yeah, no clue what happened there.
Still no clue. Kay. And I gotta clean my room. And turn in my application for the Carmike. And I have another mission tomorrow. Just peachy.
