Killer Waves Today..
So one day whilst listening to the local college station (am1190) here in Northern Colorado, I had the pleasure of hearing a song by Laika and the Cosmonauts. If you have never heard this band and are a fan of amazing experimental and instrumental "Surf Rock", then you MUST give them a listen. They have been around for years and only just recently broke up. I am in the process of collecting their entire discography and I have never been disappointed with a single track. They have a very retro, Pulp Fiction kind of feel. I bet Tarantino is a fan.
I would also recommend "Psyko", which is a freaking incredible cover of the original Psycho theme song from the Hitchcock film of the same name. For some reason, this music just makes me feel all kinds of groovy. Hell, even if you're not a fan of surf rock, you should still take a listen, I guarantee that you will fast become a fan.
In other news, I passed my Biology class with a solid B; huzzah. After a summer of hard martial arts training and competition, I'll be back in school, with Anatomy and Physiology. Mortuary Science College is just a year or so away. I am apparently, one smart cookie.. sprinkled with DOOM.
