Voltaire is Amazing.
So we finally had the opportunity to see Voltaire in concert, it was amazing. We also got to talk with him for awhile and I have to say, he's a great person, very honest and real. we talked about music downloading as well, and let's just say, he certainly has changed my views on such things. I made a brief crack about how Metallica ruined MP3.com, since we discussed it and this was how I originally discovered Voltaire and he was calm and quick to say that they're pretty much right, since he feeds his son with that money he makes. That was certainly an eyeopener and I stood corrected, foot in my mouth and was quick to agree, that certainly makes sense, good call. We made up for it by spending $75 on merchandise.
I need to learn to be less opinionated, especially around people that I idolize, I are dumb. ANYWAY, aside from that insecurity of mine, I think all went well. The concert was spectacular and I think, Hannah and I were probably the best fans there, we knew all the lyrics and allowed ourselves to have a good time, that's what Voltaire stands for, damnit! I shall scan my signed album of 'Ooky Spooky' asap, signed, FOR JAMES! Waahahahahaha! Nice.
Anyway, tonight we have a cage match to go to, a few guys from my MMA school are competing tonight and I'm excited to see how things go.
