Allright, the news of the day is obviously the sox, wow, the last time they won the AL pennant I was 1, it's so crazy exciting that they're finally going to the world series, and taking the Yankees down in dramatic fashion no less. It's hard to deny that the sox are indeed the team of destiny this year. A few days off and then we're ready for the WORLD SERIES BABY! Yeah, allright, good stuff. In other news I've got a big next two weeks coming up soon, I haven't had any of my midterms yet so next week I'm going to have to hunker down, block out the distractions and study. Hopefully I can rally a couple of study groups together too for various courses, with Yosef and Tim in the Poli Sci class I'm sure I can get something together, and maybe something for my US presidency class. Foreign Policy I'm not as worried about because the notes are so easy to follow and Jacob teaches it so well, but I suppose talking to Kevin/Tony/Brian about getting together a study group may not be a bad idea either. I love the way my classes overlapped this semester, I'm really getting good at this stuff. I remember last semester when I sat down to the Am Civ Midterm and the 40 pt essay question was the essay that I'd written for the first semester of the Vietnam class, needless to say I aced that midterm. Why couldn't there just be history classes, I'm so damn good at it, but I blow at almost everything else, but I guess I knew that coming into a liberal arts college. I did the same overlap this semester, the american presidency class and the foreign policy class (foreign policy is historically primarily shaped by presidents *wink wink*) are overlapping quite nicely as presidents are often well known for their foreign policy ventures (See Thomas Jefferson and Louisiana Purchase for example) So anyways, a bit of reading and then off to class, then some more reading and a little writing, hopefully I can be productive today as I'm well rested, happy and there's no sox game tonight.
