He's baaaaack
Ok, I realize it's been months since I've updated, some of you were happy about this turn of events, others complained incessantly about the lack of updates. Now is the day of your appeasement. So, news, broke up with Joanna, for real this time. I worked all summer at a cracker barrel. I had an amazing nerd-tastic trip to Gencon which was unfortunately quite draining on my finances and yielded no tournament victory. I'm thinking that from now on my journal will become less a log of events but rather a listing of amusing or important observations I've made throughout the course of the day, like so:
Today I pulled up behind an SUV in a gas station, with the gas in the process of being pumped. The attendant came up to my tiny honda accord, started filling my tank from empty to full, ran through my credit card, had me sign the reciept and I was on my way out of the station and the SUV was still having gas pumped into it. Somehow I don't think the SUV owner saw that occurence as symbolic as I did.
Goals for the upcoming school year (Not in any particular order):
1. A vastly improved GPA
2. A new girlfriend
3. Establish a set workout routine
4. Start attending church services again
5. Branch out further into different campus groups.
Please feel free to annoy/help me if I appear to be falling short of these goals during the school year.
