Have I seriously not updated this since before Christmas??? Well, Happy New Year everyone!

Also, happy spring break to myself, Lydia! I hope you enjoy freezing your ass off, cleaning, doing laundry, practicing for your recital, and writing your research paper!

My paper's going to be awesome. It's about the parallels between Wagner and Hitler and the influence of the former on the later.  I took out so many books on Hitler from the URI library...it made me feel like a creep and I became paranoid about what the librarians thought of me.

My jury was a week ago today. Scott played it with me (of course) even though it was his 25th birthday. He's so sweet! We did really well. Dempsey STILL hasn't graded me, but Ann gave me a 92 and George Kent gave me a 99. Most of my invitations are out and I'm currently waiting on metallic gold paper samples to arrive in the mail so I can get going on my programs. My mom's already cleaning the house and has a huge list of "Lydia's recital food" going.

Can I just say I'm currently obsessed with Leinenkugel's beer?

Saturday's the annual trip to New Britain, CT to load up on Polish food for Easter. I'm very excited...it's really one of the highlights of my year. I love it so much. I can't wait for all that sausage and dark rye bread and marmalade-filled gingerbread. Scott's coming for the weekend, too. YAY. I have to make him an Easter basket. I already got "The Office" season 1 dvd to add to our little collection, but that's going to be to BOTH of us so it can stay at my house. Haha. I'll get him some candy and I'll probably stop at Job Lot to get some other random crap to put in his basket. Job Lot always has stuff you never knew you wanted/needed for wicked cheap.

Spring's this week and the temp is supposed to get up in the 50s. Yessssssssss.

I need to take Luke and E adventuring tomorrow.

Time to get on with my day: run, cleaning, visiting with my grandparents for a bit, teaching 2.30-6.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
