I come back from a weekend away and find horrible potential spoilers for the Moffat 2-parter. I'm assuming most people who read spoilers, know what I'm talking about...
I really really don't want this to be true. Please someone tell me its not true and that its just the Daily Mirror blowing things WAY out of proportion!!!! Please?? Its making me sad and I need someone to make me feel slightly better about this.
I know its stupid bloody Steven Moffat playing with timelines and the Doctor's sexuality again, but seriously!!! A potential future/past wife??? Right before we get Rose back? WTF is he trying to kill me? I was bad enough with Reinette, but if this is true?! Seriously, I think my head might explode.
Its not that I don't think the Doctor has never been in love before Rose, and as a Time Lord who will probably live another 900years I would expect a potential future romance. But now?! Seriously, why do we need a potential 'wife' for a 2 parter right before Rose comes back. Its just mean. And its making my shipper heart really sad, and I know that that is irrationally crazy but I can't help it. I really really don't want it to be true. I just hope its like the Doctor's Daughter, and playing with appearances again.
I just..... really don't want to see this and this is making me dread when SM takes over. Is he really going to turn the Doctor into a manwhore? Or, a serial marriage monogomist?! I just really can't see the Doctor actually being married and hope to go its a potential future, or something like that.
