Statement of Completed Journeys

Alright good news to everyone out there that tracks my goals yesterday was a complete success, here is how things break down

First on enjoying my time in the scene shop: Complete success, first off I got to talk politics for almost the whole first hour, as if that weren't enough we got to go down to the prop room and just look at all kinds of weird stuff. I found a stick of Tri-Nitro-Talumine AKA: TNT except it was fack, but I still threatened to go all crazy with it. Then I found a Newsweek from 1997 and the main article was could we defeat Saddam in open conflict... it seems we answered that question

Goal Numero Duex: I believe was find some one to work for me, well all seemed lost until finally a slacker whom I never consider to ask said he needed hours to another employee and that employee got him to cover the shift. So that would be a 50% completion because I got what I wanted but I didn't do the work.

Attempting to fix a damaged friendship went off with out a hitch aside from intial bit of phone tag. All is well in the realm of my longterm friendships. My brother will not be leaving me behind I hope for some time, if ever.

Final goal was to go and see someone who would calm me down, it did happen. In fact I had a very Cathardic evening, and feel renewed, ready to take on the world. Yeah I don't know if the world is ready to have me take it on though.

Onward to today. My goals for today I think should be just as easy to accomplish, if somewhat more specific or narrow.

ONE: I hate working with this guy in scene shop because he is comppletely boring, and thinks he is funny. I have had to work with him non stop for a week and a half today I hope to not work with him at all.

TWO: Actually listen to what my intro to Tech theatre has to say today. Most classes I just sit there completely uncaring because it has become clear that his class is designed to fail people who don't already have a working knowledge of the most mundane details of theatre. For an intro class this is a kick in the pants

THREE: Figure out why my laptop keeps randomly going and hitting the back button on the browser, every 15 min or so it decides to return to the previous page. Its really weird and annoying.

FOUR: Set dates for directors meetings, staff orientation, & a time to work out my program with my assistant

FIVE: Get some sleep. Spirits know I am tired.
