still here in manchester, lectures have started. i changed my major from philosophy to linguistics. i have the loveliest 'history of english' lecturer, things look good. except that all the departments hate us combined studies students as we are a pain, still, they could be a bit more helpful... i dont know when any of my tuorials are!
i'm coming down with the freshers flu, i had so much fun last week ,went to three brilliant club nights and three shit ones (that were fun anyway). met some great people around (everyone is so friendly). i have so many flyers for stuff i want to go to... i hope i have time to do them all, theres so much stuff to do here, i think i'm going to overload!! its such a change from swansea.
lana's down (or up i suppose). we went to revolver last night (really good 60s garage and pop night - think nuggets etc) which was great (if a bit sweaty), its at this club/venue called th roadhouse which is really great. the dj's were so much fun (theres about five and they all dance around on tables and stuff).
we also went to the night and day, a cafe/bar/venue. its really good, tea just £1!! and the atmosphere is really nice.
