Vollmond, ou bien la nuit blanche - a fanmix for moonlit solitary walks

Technically this is my first fanmix. In fact, this is my third one, but the first two are still in progress, 'cause they turned out to be much more difficult ideas to develop than this one. Anyway, ladies and gentlemen, I give to you

Vollmond*, ou bien la nuit blanche**

This mix is lovely! The theme had me caught from the first but the songs you chose really complete it. And there's Tanz on here-- squee!

Thank you! It's sooo nice when there's someone who appreciates.

And the fact that it's Steve Barton does make me very happy. I've been meaning to get those tracks on my new iPod, and in conjunction with this playlist, I love how it works out.

:: dances :: If only I had a proper place to go walking... without freezing.

Ah, the frost is a terrible thing... (Because I surely made this playlist in August, only made the English text to go with it right now). I always envied the heroines (a vivid example is Emmy Rossum as Christine) when they walk in the snow having nothing on but a lacy low-cut dress and a thin cloak - and aren't apparently freezing at all! (While poor me needs gloves long before the water begins to freeze, and polo-neck plus scarves, no decoltee...)

I've always loved seeing hardcore Gothic heroines in filmy nightdresses and drapy cloaks and all that. *g* I think the only concessions to looking waify and feminine I can make given our local weather is a nice silk scarf to go over my black trenchcoat. Not exactly a chance to showcase nice shoulders and collarbone when you're dodging getting hit by cars and having to keep your hands in your pockets. Some day, some day...

Though I strongly suspect that the reason all these heroines with delicate constitutions are so comfortable wandering the windswept heath in so little is that they're either sleepwalking or safely on a soundstage somewhere...
