Hi there, old and new frienderinos! No matter if you've known me from Instagram or Twitter or if you're unfortunate enough to have stumbled upon my LJ by accident, I feel obliged to write an introduction post on this shiny brand new LJ. Besides, oversharing is one of my favorite coping mechanisms.
My name is Lily, and I was born in Indonesia a long, long time ago. I'm ancient now, so please don't ask about my age. As we get closer as friends you'd probably figure it out by yourself anyway. I share the same birthday as Yamada Ryosuke's older sister, Yamada Chihiro. Yes, this is something that I'm kinda proud of.
I moved to Germany in 2015, and now I live peacefully in a small town near Düsseldorf. Well, "peaceful" might not be the best term to describe my life, "chaotic mess" is more like it. But everything's fine. (Narrator: Everything was NOT fine.)
If you haven't figured it out already from my LJ profile picture, I love Yamada Ryosuke ♡´・ᴗ・`♡ I started liking Ryosuke in 2013 after seeing Hidarime Tantei EYE SP. I was what people would now call a "solo stan". I'm going to be honest here, I didn't like JUMP at first because the time I started to like Ryosuke was also the time when he first debuted as a solo artist and the circumstances at the time made it difficult for me to like JUMP. But I started to warm up towards the group in 2014, and even though I'd never be JUMP's #1 fan, I respect the other members a lot and I'm grateful that Ryosuke is surrounded by such kind people.
I'm sorry for the long paragraph. But I feel like I need to make my stance towards JUMP clear. Some people would still label me as a "Yamada Ryosuke solo stan", and to be honest, I don't mind people thinking of me this way. But I just want people to know that unlike some other solo stans, I harbor absolutely no ill feelings towards JUMP and I wish them all the best, both individually and as a group. I'm NOT a JUMP hater. I enjoy their songs and performances, and I like the group as a whole. I just like Ryosuke more. (It's like how I like both strawberries and oranges but if I absolutely have to choose just one I'd pick strawberries lol)
Enough about that. Other than fangirling, I also spend my free time reading and writing. No, not fanfics, sorry. I don't really read fanfics, except the ones that my friends wrote, and I don't write fanfics that often because I still feel a bit uncomfortable about writing about people who exist in real life and might or might not see what fans have been fantasizing about them. I just don't know how comfortable I'd be if I were to become famous overnight and people suddenly start to write fics about me having passionate sex with my best friend (O∆O) (I have nothing against fanfics writers. They're amazing, and a lot of them have fantastic writing skills that most people don't appreciate enough.)
I don't write fanfics much, but I do write a lot of fantasy short stories. None of them are published though. I'm keeping all of them in the dungeon that is the secret folder in my laptop. Right now I'm working on the first book of a series of fantasy novels which I might (or might not) publish online one day. I'm still unsure about this, but I'll probably decide soon whether to publish it or not.
Now comes the most difficult part which is ending my oversharing session. I wish I could just end it SixTONES style and shout Lily でした! I wonder if that sounds like I'm implying that I'm dead or dying. I wonder... (ಠ.ಠ)
