READING IN SPACE.

Feb 12, 2015 22:33

Last night, I dreamed that they had decided to extend the Alien Franchise. Alien 3D was definitely there but also was the somewhat strangely named Alien: Ecuador in Space!

"They always try to make things more dramatic by saying "IN SPACE" on the end," I told my dream companions confidently, perhaps missing a more obvious question of how did Ecuador get into space ...

Then we played Alien: The Board Game. Or were possibly attacked by aliens, it was one of those dreams where it was a bit hard to tell what was happening. Except the helpful list of Alien films.

In other news, I am not terribly well, which is annoying. I therefore deciding to spent the evening watching Through the Dragon's Eye which is the best programme to teach you how to read ever (no, that really is what it is - it's designed to help 8/9 year olds with reading so there's a story mapped around the fact that this magical country needs people to read and so naturally they collect some children to do and it's awesome, even when you are twenty nine) It now has the added bonus of "Deva, I actually recognise that it's your voice under that terrifying bird mask." (David Collings is clearly having a fucking ball, I like to think the direction was just "Scare the shit out as many kids as you can!" And lo, he did.)
