Trailers, Trailers, Trailers
Have introduced my sister to Death Note (the two films) She liked it which pleased me but what pleased me even more was that I really enjoyed it. I've missed Death Note! I've missed Light's evil laughter and mind games and L eating anything sugary he can his hands on. I really am going to get round to buying the anime boxset because I want to watch it again. And shall re-read the manga too.
Anyway! There's been a whole load of trailers released lately which I have feeeeeeelings about! (I am well unspoiled about all of these btw so please don't give anything away that wasn't in the trailers!)
Here. The dialogue and action look great but the animation is quite a lot creepy. Maybe it'll get better when you watch a whole film of it? I don't know. I also still wonder how one crosses Crabs with the Golden Claws and Secret of the Unicorn but never mind. I just hope it's not terrible - I really do love Tintin. It's so stupid in so many ways but ... it's Tintin.
Also, it's well weird to have them all sound British. Well weird. I'm so used to the cartoon! (I love that cartoon)
Here. Rory punches Hitler. This is clearly an attempt to make me hate this idea less but it hasn't worked - I just don't want the Doctor to meet Hitler. I just don't. It'll either be really awfully done or really well done and I don't actually want to watch either option, to be honest. Annoyingly, I know I'll watch it anyway because I keep doing that with Doctor Who. I shall have some tasty chocolate on standby, I think.
Anyway, other stuff happened in this trailerr. There's some creepy dolls and some more Cybermen ... I can root for more Cybermen. I hope they're awesome. And possibly bitter about the awesomeness of Rory showing up and blowing them the hell up! Not sure about the Weeping Angels again. I feel they could get a little dull and not sure about whatshisface from the Lodger again but it makes sense I suppose. Maybe.
Here. MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERLIN! MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERLIN! MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERLIN! Look, look, ANGST AND DARKNESS AND GLORIOUS PAIN (and one nasty bit which I expected but whatevers.) Percival carrying Merlin and dark creepy shadowy things and corpses everywhere ... oh, I look forward to this SO MUCH SO MUCH SO MUCH. And Morgana had a cool new outfit and looks like she'll be doing awesome things and there was not enough Gwaine but that's okay, I know he'll be there in the end. :) I honestly am looking forward to this, although I do hope there's a few funny episodes scattered in there somewhere - I like Merlin with a bit of humour as well as with their glorious candy tears!
Today, I used a till and didn't cock it up. Truly I am mighty!
