(no subject)
Didn't get the job. I was expecting this mostly but I didn't really care on the whole except that this evening, I have got increasingly crosser and crosser. Which suggests that perhaps I was a little more upset than I thought. Or possibly, the world is just filled with meh. Luckily, I wrote about the good/interesting TV I watched first.
There was an episode of Midsomer Murders that I haven't seen before! And it was filled with AWESOME quotes!
Barnaby: Upper Warden is down the hill. Lower Warden is up the hill.
Troy: Well, that doesn't make any sense!
Barnaby: Troy, this is Midsomer.
Troy: I'm sorry. I forgot.

And then there's Troy is talking to someone he thinks is gay (he probably is gay). His look of horror and distress is always so amusing. Naturally, the way he deals with this is by talking to the man, then insisting on meeting him at night and buying him a pint and then meeting him again. Oh Troy, in no way are you remotely closeted!
- "You actually fired your girlfriend?!" Oh Chase.

- Foreman does have a point. It's a bit insane but totally reasonable.
