I picked up the new printer and installed it. As much fun as you imagine. But that’s done now. I don’t need a printer often but I want it to work when I do.
My former electric provider sent me a $25 check so I naturally went out and bought dvds of the tv show “Wings” that I came across. I’m thinking of binging it on Christmas, with snacks.
I made it to another grocery store, Winco. It’s sort of a baby Costco. The warehouse feel but you don’t have to buy in bulk. They don’t accept credit cards which made for a baffled minute or two at the checkout until I said , Debit? Yes, they will gladly take your money right now. I believe that is the first time I have ever used a debit card.
On one of the trips I made up here as I was in the midst of buying/moving, I stayed at a motel in Eugene. I had to go to different sites so I picked motels near where I needed to be. I need a place that has some sort of breakfast available because I can’t be dressing and stumbling around looking for coffee in a strange town. Coffee needs to be readily available. The motel was not a winner. On the never again list, but they had the best breakfast biscuits! I was thinking that I should go around to bakeries to see where they came from. But I realized-duh!-they probably buy them from Costco or someplace like that. Not bakeries. I look for them every chance I get.
