17 - Indoor Plant Week: This week marks the start of National Indoor Plant Week. Do you have indoor plants or do you prefer to do outdoor gardening? Do you have a green thumb, or do you seek out plants that are difficult to kill?
I don’t have indoor plants because I’m afraid the cats will eat them. Some plants are safe to eat; some are not. It’s just not an area that I want to take time to learn.
I used to grow veggies outside, but here I don’t get enough direct sunlight, as hot as it is.
18 - Read an Ebook Day: Are you partial to ebooks? What are some advantages of ebooks over other formats? What sort of ereader do you use -- kindle, kobo, tablet, other? Are there some types of books that really don't work as ebooks?
I’ve tried ebooks but it’s just not for me. I’m rereading my shelved books. They’ll see me out.
19 - Talk Like a Pirate Day: Do you have a favourite book, film, or TV show about pirates?
Well, I’ve obviously missed talk like a pirate day, so everyone is spared that.
Bookwise I’ll go for the classic Treasure Island. And for a movie I’d watch The Pirate with Judy Garland and Gene Kelly any time I came across it.
It’s dark at 5:30. I really don’t mind it. It’s the last Loki, I believe. That’s half my must see tv until they start pumping out new tv shows, now that the strike is over. More Will Trent, I’m waiting…
