11 - World Plumbing Day: We take indoor plumbing for granted - until there's a problem with it. Have you ever suffered a major plumbing emergency? Have you ever tried to fix a plumbing issue on your own? Did you succeed?
One time it was 11pm and I turned on the bathtub faucets and they wouldn’t turn off.
One time the whole house water wouldn’t drain; the plumber found out that raccoons under the house had pulled down a pipe. It was Christmas Eve. The plumber was really mad at the office crew because they weren’t answering his calls. Christmas Eve.
The kitchen sink in this house stopped up and I tried to fix and made it worse. The plumber had to use a drill as big as a jack hammer.
12 - Craft Month: Do you enjoy being creative? What crafts do you participate in? What crafts would you like to try out?
I’ve done macrame; I kept coughing up rope fibers.
I crochet and knit. Only okay at them.
My subscriptions are over and I can’t see The Mandalorian or The Last of Us any more, and I was binging them. Now I have Pascal withdrawal. I found the episodes of The Mentalist when he was a love interest for Lisbon. Which must have sent the shippers of Jane/Lisbon mad.
My sleep schedule is godawful. I’m up until 5am and then have patches of sleep here and there. And it’s so damn hot.
