1 - Serpent Day: How do you feel about snakes? Would you ever keep a snake as a pet?
I don’t like to see snakes kept as pets in containers. They are all curled up and seldom get to stretch out as they should. And not to feel the earth underneath them. They’re a useful part of nature; that’s not to say I wouldn’t run when I saw one in the grass.
2 - Optimist Day: Do you consider yourself to be an optimist or a pessimist?
I think globally I’m a pessimist/realist. I’m not surprised when bad things happen. In personal life I’m an optimist/realist. I don’t worry too much about things I can’t control and just deal with what comes.
I had a credit for a prime movie so I watched Nobody, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Having a weakness for violence when it’s ridiculous. I liked it so much I bought a dvd for when I’m in the mood for close combat on a bus.
And last night I was cruising around Prime and I ran across another Chinese Detective Dee movie which was not as good as Detective Dee: Mystery of the Phantom Flame but, still, entertaining enough to keep me up. They’re Chinese superhero movies, only with lots of magic and puffs of colored smoke.
