Interestingly, they really seem to be playing down the "musical" aspect of the story and it looks as though they've focused perhaps a little more on Todd's backstory. Of course, Burton does his Burton-y thing and you can definitely see his artistic influence in the trailer. Depp and Bonham-Carter are both younger than the actors typically playing Todd and Lovett, but it just might work. I remember having nightmares for weeks after watching Len Cariou and Angela Lansbury in these roles when I was much younger. I think Alan Rickman is *perfect* as the judge. As for the rest? I'll have to wait and see. But it will definitley be on my "to watch" list
