Justifying why it's perfectly justifiable to blow 30 bucks on a magazine.

The Kinokuniya store at Liang Court, is amazing, amazing. It's done it again, it has.

Anyway. Recently, I saw scans of the spring/summer issue of Mgirl, and it had me flailing terribly, because of the gorgeous feature of Aiba. I didn't look for it earlier because it was so terribly expensive. But the spread, when I saw it, was gorgeous. And so I had to have it. Problem, it came out way back in April, and was probably sold out by now. That's when Liang Court proved to be the miracle worker. This is the second time now, after I thought it was impossible to find copies of Sugarcoat, the WA artbook here and there was one last copy left. I love the Liang Court Kino, I truly do now.

After I bought it though, that's when the mental screaming at self started. Paying $30 for a mag, (and that's after a 20% discount) definitely falls within the realm of insanity, oh yes. And it's really not as if I have too much cash to throw around, oh god. But after ripping the wrapping apart, I found it came with an Ed Hardy eco bag, mini pouch, and a notebook, which assuaged the guilt somewhat. ("Hey! I can use that after all. And it's not $30 just for a magazine.")

The gorgeous, gorgeous, full colour feature on Aiba was totally worth it, I have to admit, he's simply gorgeous. There was a nice long interview with Aiba at the back, and to my utter, extreme delight, for the first time I've ever seen, a Japanese magazine actually provided English translations of the Japanese interview! I can actually understand what's written there! Icing on the cake, in toppling volumes.

I found out that the photographer is actually the same lady who did the Arashi wall calendar...full of lush colours, very rich, very gorgeous, and having her male subjects show plenty of skin ^_^;;; (The female models didn't reveal much....) I liked the calendar, so it's good. And she made Aiba look so sexy (still...is there really a need for so many topless shots? ^o^) Oh I wished I had a scanner. It's beautiful, he's too beautiful, my heart aches.

I need new Aiba icons. *flails*
