Edumawachamacallit?
Well, I've finally had all of my classes now. Oh god this quarter I AM GONNA DIE.
Comic book class: Do I really have to say any more? This is my dream class. And the wonderful thing is that the professor really does work in the field, and uses the same method to his art that I'd like to try out. xD (estimated work load: ~3 hrs./wk avg outside of class)
3-D Modeling: Something I've never done before! Hopefully, I'll do okay, but it's like making cookies using the frozen dough stuff while knowing there's those crazy cake making people out there. And fun fact: my prof is totally awesome. She's got a bit of a drill Sargent in her, but I can tell she's cool :3 (estimated work load: ~5 hrs./wk avg outside of class)
Figure Drawing: Oh heavens! I know saying I'm excited to draw naked people sounds horribly wrong, but really I only am interested because I want to become a better artist. The professor know pretty much everything about the classic arts (drawing, painting, etc), and she's amazingly nice, though she gives it to you straight if she has to. (estimated work load: ~4 hrs./wk avg outside of class)
2-D Animation: This is the mothercountry class, for me in a way. I am an animation major, so yeah. I'm trying not to stress over the shear amount of drawing that will commence D: it's good for me, right? But the prof is freaking AMAZING. I already love her and her sense of humor, but I hope she likes me :/ (estimated work load: ~6 hrs./wk avg outside of class)
History of Animation: To be honest, it doesn't really feel like a history class. Mostly, it feels like an extension of my 3-D Modeling, 2-D Animation, and Comic book classes. Of course, it is taught by my 3-D teacher, so that may be part of it. (estimated work load: ~5 hrs./wk avg outside of class)
So thats about 23 hours of homework a week in addition to the 40 i'm pulling just for class. If I can make it through this quarter, then I can probably do anything, right? (and mind you, when I talk about homework, I mean sitting in front of a drawing board working with no breaks or distractions)
will post actual art or comic or something later. so... tired... ugh
