020 Glow Donghae/Kibum
It is probably silly to think that way, but Kibum notices how the world always seems to get brighter whenever Donghae is around.
Did Donghae swallow something that made him so bright? He practically glows.
Kibum is someone who values privacy and quietness, so it bothered him a lot when he knew that he was going to have a roommate. Especially when he heard that this new roommate of his is outgoing, loud and too bubbly for his own good. So he didn’t really plan to welcome him when he arrived at the door, banging.
Still in his deep slumber, Kibum decided that he was not going to open the door for the new roommate of his. He could wait; sleeping is more important. Therefore you can imagine his surprise when he saw the big bird jumping on him. Wait, big bird? Isn’t that a character in Sesame Street? Or was it something else?
Whatever it is, Kibum was up in one second, with his fist in mid-air, ready to punch the intruder who had his whole body smashed onto his.
Then his whole body was crushed to death by a bone-breaking hug.
“Hello!!! Kibummie! I’m Lee Dong Hae, your new roommate and soon-to-be best friend!”
What the hell. I don’t even know you, and I don’t intend to know you.
Little did he know that he was wrong and Lee Dong Hae is right.
They attend the same school, happened to be pursuing the same major and unfortunately, they even had the same schedules. Donghae took every moment to cling onto Kibum, claiming that best friends like them should stick together whenever the chance.
Kibum was annoyed by his behavior, and yet at the same time, he had grown accustomed to him.
The Donghae who hug him in his sleep, claiming that aliens are around to kidnap innocent people like them, so they should sleep together to protect each other. The Donghae who plays video games with him; and always lose. The Donghae whose smile is enough to light up the whole place; and Kibum won’t be surprised if people goes blind because his smile is so dazzling.
He hates to admit it, but Donghae is his best friend.
Though he would never tell him face to face.
Cause Donghae is just going to jump up and down in happiness, and declare to the whole world that Kibum is his best friend too.
