Let us pretend for just a moment the we matter, "In the big scheme of things that is" That we as individuals are important. That our lives truely are not baised just by the jobs we work or the cars we drive. The idea that god/gods took the time to make us whom we are. After all if something as great as a God made us we must mean something, right?
Well, what if we were the ones whom created God? I'm not tring to upset anyone here, just a thought. I'm sure that anyone whom is a magik practioner would agree that you can affect reality with just a thought. But, to those of you whom do not belive in magik, I'm sure would agree that faith is a very powerful thing. Faith perhaps is the most powerful thing that we as people posses.
Everyone has faith in something, even if it is in the fact that they don't think they do! Man has always need to have faith, and since faith is so great why waist it on something stupid? Man needed to use it for a great purpose, perhaps that purpose was God. The idea of being christ-like so that they could help "save souls" People find a great purpose in helping others, what a great thing to use faith for! However, using it to tell someone that god will punish them for not having the same faith is wrong.
Imagine what it would be like for most people if they thought that god was not there. Some people have spent their lives living for god, so that they could be reunited with him when they die. If god did not exist, if when you died there was nothing, "most people" would have no reason to go on. People needed something to belive in so that they would never simply stop existing. Perhaps man used that faith and added a little fear of the unknown and came up with god. Just a thought
