Wonder [Tom/Dorian]
He wonders if it is easier to not feel; it seems that his companion doesn’t want to acknowledge his thoughts or emotions. All that matters is having a warm and willing body. He wonders if that is what immortality does: strips you of any sort of feeling until you are numb and hollow.
Tom wonders if Dorian has ever felt anything for him other than lust.

He wonders if the boy can’t see it; the way his hands linger too long over his skin, the way his breath catches in his throat as the roughness of his hands travel over his immortal body. If he knows that he is spending far too much time memorizing the way he gasps and hisses, the way his eyes turn from jade to forest green.
Dorian wonders if Tom has noticed that the icy cage around his heart is beginning to crack by his mere existence.
