Yeah, so a day late after my cryptic non-post of the First.
Anywho. It would appear that I have, after a couple of months (and something like a year away from the project) finished the second installment of my graphic novel,
Painkillers. 48 pages of mythologically-bound dystopian science-fiction, and even
a proper cover this time. As I mentioned in March, it's the second of a trilogy, but there will be considerably less time between the second and third books now that I'm finally getting my digital-comics-legs. And there will end my first foray into quasi-epic-sci-fi. Whew.
For this book I'm attempting a print run through
Lulu, after seeing what wonders they've done for my pal
fabricari's
books. This way it also appears more likely that I'll have something to show at
APE next month. Anyone else going to be there? I'll be tabling with
mattblackinc and
analog_vector.
See below the alliterative cut for twelve of my favorite panels from the new book linked to their source pages, completely out of context, or just read the whole thing from
the very beginning. Comments, questions, criticisms of all stripes welcome.
