Fiscally Brunette?!?
So, I just completed fieldwork on my very first audit today! After 2 and half months, and GALLONS of COFFEE later, I've made it through and did very well! I had a great first experience (sure I had a few moments of "am I really cut out for this?") and I know I can do this.
Completion of the fieldwork for this audit is kind of like that rush you get after the first time you ride and amazing roller coaster. You know somewhere in yourself you can handle the ride before you get on, but the uncertainty is just killing you until you get over that first initial mind blowing drop!
So at about 5:30 PM this evening, after I had packed up paperwork, my laptop, and external monitor and loaded it up in to my rolling crate and locked the door to the audit room at the client, and walked out to my car, I couldn't help but feel a little like Reese Witherspoon's character Elle Woods in Legally Blonde after she wins her first trial!
