What a lovely Valentines Day!

Feb 14, 2012 22:24

Thank so much, firstly, to sidewinder for the awesome glass heart she sent me as a gift! And to my amazing hubby (who will never see this if I don't print it our for him) for the delightful night of dinner and dancing, including the hour of salsa and tango lessons. It has been the best Valentines Day since the first one after we closed the flower shop!

family, life

And here I am again wishing you a very happy birthday. I was thinking of you as I just finished rereading some of your stories and they still give me such a lot of pleasure.

Hope you are well in the midst of all this madness

cheers

It is such a pleasure to hear from old friends on my birthday, and folks like you are one of the main reasons I keep paying the LJ renewal; that and having a place to keep all my old stories together. Madness is an accurate statement - hubby and I are working from home, and trying to show and sell our house at the same time, and if everything else weren't crazy enough, that adds just the extra twist of mind boggling difficulty to the mix. But we both still have jobs and a home, that is enough to make me grateful daily. It is so good to hear from you - I hope all the best for you as well!

Hey Lori, glad you and your hubby are well. Working from home and trying to show your house for selling in the current climate must be really stressful, but it sounds as you are approaching it all with a philosophical attitude.

I'm doing fine thank you. I retired last autumn and we moved house, so are in the middle of an enormous reno and still adjusting to life outside of a regulated work day, but I'm not complaining! *g*

Take care, keep well and good luck with the house!
