The Book/Movie and You
*Do you prefer the book or movie? I'll let you in on a tiny little secret.... I haven't finished the book. I now, I'm so bad. D:
*Favorite film version/actor or actress from a certain version: My favorite film version is 1994, though I was raised on the June Allyson version as well. Margaret O'Brien is my favorite Beth (though Claire Danes is one of my favorite actresses, I don't know how that worked out), though my absolute favorite version is 1994.
*Who is your favorite character and why? My favorite characters are Meg and Beth. I always looked up to them. I love how they're little ladies. I've always looked up to them.
*Who is your least favorite character and why? The school teacher. All though it was the custom of the time, no one should be hitting children like that. :|
*Do you have a favorite part of the movie? I really like the budding relationship between Amy and Laurie. Even though I never thought they would be, I guess they're one of my Little Women OTP. Lucky Amy, right?
*Favorite quote and why?Friedrich: But I have nothing to give you. My hands are empty.
[entwines her hands with his]
Jo: Not empty now.
I love how romantic and simple this quote is. It's really sweet, and it shows the love they have.
*If Jo were to write a thrilling operatic tragedy, what kind of character would you like to play? (i.e.: the damsel in distress, the hero, the villain, a magical creature such as a troll or hag, etc.) I'd want to be the beautiful princess! :D But hopefully I'd do more than just scream. XD
