State of my fandom
Can you really call it fandom when all you do is watch the shows? Ah, well, whatevs. :)
So, what am I watching this season? Let's see... On the new side there's Sleepy Hollow, which I'm enjoying more than I did Grimm last year, but which I sometimes I only listen to with half an ear, so I end up missing things and have to back it up and watch it again. I will say that Ichabod is no Monroe, though he is pretty easy on the eyes, so... :)
I'm also watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. It started off pretty slow, but it's picking up and I'm enjoying it more every week. After last night's episode, though, I think I need to rewatch the previous ones, because I've totally forgotten the earlier canon they made references to.
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland...Hmm... I watched the first episode and it was all right, and I'm recording the others, so I guess I can't say I'm "watching" it, but I'll give it a better chance soon.
Comedy-wise, I tried Robin Williams new show, but it was mostly Robin being Robin, and I can only take so much of that these days, so have given it up. Still watching Michael J. Fox's show, though. The characters are just quirky enough that I'm enjoying it, though the rivalry with his and Anne Heche's characters is already wearing thin. Hopefully, the writers will move on from that soon.
That's all in the new department, though Almost Human starts in a couple of weeks, and I'm looking forward to seeing Karl Urban on my TV every week. ;)
As for everything else, I'm still watching Drop Dead Diva, Hawaii 5-O, White Collar, & OUaT, though some of them I need to catch up on still (WC & OUaT). And, yes, I'm still watching Castle. :) I actually have hopes that this season will return to the show I fell in love with when it first aired. *fingers crossed* The first few eps were kind of meh, but I've really enjoyed the last two, and have hopes for next week's as well. Here's hoping that having Terri Edda Miller back on the writing staff will improve things!
