Haven’t really had much to say. I feel like I’m in a funk. The job that I thought would come to fruition didn’t. And since than I am feeling rather blah!
Recommended to me by madknits , I am reading, Stonewall by Martin Duberman. It’s a fascinating book and I feel it’s a must read for all ‘Gays’. I think it is important for all to have an understanding of the gay movement. We have come a long way and still have much more to accomplish. What I find most interesting about the book is the position of the various activist…the movement of wanting acceptance and the movement of demanding respect. Which has been more pivitol to the movement?....I do not know. I find myself somewhere in between. I do ask myself though, would I have had the courage back than to be part of such a movement…?
I found this picture of me from a few years ago, before I discovered that there was a bear community. Yeah, I grew in the facial hair for a reason….superficial? Hey, I love me the hairy men. This pic makes me look like a big MO!
No plans for the weekend. I think I will finish my book poolside on Saturday after I get the household chores done. I am thinking about maybe, taking Tuesday off and heading east to Palm Springs on Sunday. We will see.
I think I am in need of some fornication….that perhaps will lift the spirits.
