And I said, "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"

My spring break is this week. It's pretty early, but I'm enjoying it. I already know I'll have a paper to churn out when I get back*, so I'm trying to soak up all the leisure time while I can.

I've recently gotten hooked on the show Legend of the Seeker.  It airs on Saturdays, which is weird but very convenient for me. It's based off a fantasy book series that my mom read a few years ago. I haven't read the books, but I really enjoy the show. (Though Kahlin's wardrobe still bothers me. How does she run/fight in that long, flowy dress? And how is it still so white? Magic, I suppose.) I wish they would make more series out of books. They allow for better character and plot development than movies.
Outlander would be PERFECT for the television show story-telling format. Why has no one pursued this?

Yesterday, I started reading Elizabeth Peters' Amelia Peabody mystery series, which my mom has been trying to get me to read forever. I was hooked on the first page. Guess this means I should follow my mom around the library more often. Anyway, I recommend Elizabeth Peters, especially if you have a dry sense of humor.

I read that Chase and Cameron are going to have more important roles in future episodes of House. Whoohoo!

*We haven't been told specifics about the topic, so I can't really start on it yet. Bah.
